they did not play well at man u, the only players that turned up were berbatov and bale. it was just who was more mediocre out of the two teams, and theirs and oppositions fans who hate man u (you know who you are!) made such a fuss that they deserved at least a point and they were cheated out of a penalty (even though the ball blatantly hit browns chest) that most fans actually believed it. it was a crap game, that had a 10 min period of excitement.
the spurs board have shot themselves in the foot, by inquiring about other managers they have unsettled the team, the fans and jol, who i believe has done brilliantly at spurs since santini left. hopefully they'll get things back on track soon, they've got a great team and there 2 main centre backs are missing (dawson, king) so hopefully they'll stop letting in so many goals

Been following Spurs for some 20 years now (since I was 5) and every pre-season is the same... huge optomism that finally Spurs will be back in the big time and will win at the very least a cup competition.
Last 2 seasons have certainly delivered league wise but just when all was looking rosy we start like this!
The Fulham game unfortunately showed Martin Jols' naivity when trying to hold a league. Rather than looking to put the result beyond all doubt the boys were asked to sit back and invite pressure.
Taking the skipper off didn't help matters either!
A cracking performance for 75 mins or so but to win at this level you HAVE to go for the whole 90! Fingers crossed results will improve!!!

im an aussie & ive been a spurs fan 4 20 plus yrs.its been a very bad start 2 the season 4 spurs. it should hav been a great start with the easy schedule they had should hav been 3-1 at least. lastnites game was bad,if u cant beat fullham 2 nil up then u r a joke.thank god its only the start of the season,im very sure they will turn it around soon.they will finish top 6 in the league & hopefully win or make the semis in the uefa cup,fa cup & league cup. they need king, dawson & lennon back fully fit & they need 2 play defoe more minutes.

They don't keep their concentration and they don't play for the full 90 minutes. Fulham did.
Lots of people still seem to think you can do well just by spending lots. That helps, but your players have to work as a team and show some effort. I don't think all the crap surrounding Martin Jol is helping. Their chief exec. was going on about how they were going to win the UEFA cup today. Yeah. Win some games first.

When you're the champions every game is like a cup final-especially for your opponents, and it is easier to win the title than it is to defend it.
There will be no easy games for Man Utd this season.

It's the same with Arsenal, some teams play against us as if it's a cup final, if only they could do it every game they might get some where. as for Spurs , well they're having no trouble scoring the goals but are conceding too many, Robinson shouldn't be their no1. He wasn't too good at Leeds either.

Nah Spurs going forward are a sight, but defensively they suck, last season they had a GD of +1 yet they go out and splash £30m on atacking players, you guys need a better defense, every one slag off GGraham, Morinho for their emphasis on defense, but you can't win a thing without a strong defense
ask Wenger or fergie! (Very attack mind coaches)

the players are taking things for granted, they think they are too good for some clubs but dont realise you have to work just as hard as if you are playing cfc or man u. they have a bit of growing up to do, also the defence are unsettled by robinson behind them, they have no confidence in him and it is time for him to go back to leeds.

its exactly the same start as last year but because of the expectation we are subject to more scrutiny. remember its a marathon not a sprint weve still got 30+ league games and three cup competitions to go.
