its says compact disc rewritable ultraspee and RW dvd+r DL dvd r/rw. should it be able to burn cd mp3 cds to burn in my car or only dvds?

im talking about the actual drive. iv recorded dvds but not cds yet and was just wondering if it would work.

If it can burn DVDs, it will SURELY burn CDs. It should have come w/ Nero or Roxio bundled in. Makes ALL your burning chores easier.

Yes. It should definitely burn CDs. If it can burn DVDs then it should definitely burn cds.
I see you want to burn MP3s CDs. If you have a MP3 Cd player, then just burn your MP3s as Datas onto a cd. I dont know if this is confusing to you so im not going to go into anymore details.
Bottom line: Yes, your burner burns Cds and MP3 Cds.

So long as there is nothing wrong with your drive, it will burn cds, including music cds. Assuming you have suitable software, of course.
Nero is probably the best known for reliability and will burn any type of disk which your computer is capable of creating.

make it a data disc
then copy mp3 to a cd (NOT dvd)
u should be able to copy around 118 songs on it

u can burn cds if you can burn dvds just use itunes
