i work at mcdonalds and made plenty of scrambled eggs this morning. We get our scrambled eggs from a carton, some kind of generic egg beaters. We pour four ladles of it into a grill form and we scramble them, then cut them into servings, and put them into the UHC cabinet where they are quickly served off. The only eggs we actually crack from fresh are used to make the round eggs that go on the mcmuffins. The square folded eggs come frozen, thawed, and cooked.

You should clarify which country you are living in because the answer will vary...
Example; In Korea, McDoanld's cannot use American beef and imports it from Australia. (Korean beef is priced too high) And must use local eggs for all egg dishes.
We just started having breakfast in Korea last year. The food is the same but the portions are smaller.
In the US, they use liquid egg mix, like Egg Beaters comes, from a carton for scrambled eggs but whole eggs for the Egg McMuffins. (because the yolk is whole) But the eggs used in America are from mass farms. (In KOrea they are local eggs, from smaller farms that use grain feed only)
In general, McDonalds reaches a higher standard outside of the US because the citizens demand it. Americans will eat mass produced agriculture.

The scrambled eggs you are talking about come in liquid form in a carton. They come from a food supply company that deals with McDonald's only.

McDonald's gets their eggs from Old McDonalds Farm. Okay I couldn't resist. Actually, McDonalds (some of them) use eggs that come in a carton (like a milk carton) other McDonalds use the real eggs.

McDonald's eggs are fresh, cracked and scrambled by employees. Since scrambled eggs aren't a regular breakfast item, they are made fresh when you order them.
