The best year is probably the first year they came out, but I dont remember what year this is.
The reason is because that was the last year before the Japanese manufactures agreed to limit the top speed of their bikes to 186 mph. The first year Busa would do (I think) 192.
Its not really a big deal tho. There are plenty of mods to make a Busa go faster. So any year will do. Just pick the year that has the paint scheme you like.
Good luck and ride safe.

There all pretty much the same except the new 08 model. (which hasn't been changed that much) the 99 and 2000 models had aluminum sub-frames that where braking so they recalled them and put on steel ones, which is stock now. The computer was also different those 2 years, so it use a Power commander 2 instead of 3 (which i know they where working on a PC3 for it. There just up the road in North Las Vegas). Talking to the guys at the PC2 was junk (had one on my 01 gixxer750) and they couldn't work on them. Other than that I don't know of anything else. Anyone else?
