In the NFL, if you go two overtime periods without a break in the tie, then it's a tie. I don't know the college rules.

If they're still tied after the first OT in the NFL. In College, they can't have a tie, because the new OT rules mandate each team must try for the 2 pt. conversion if they score a TD in the 3rd or subsequent OT.

The score is tied at the end of ot! In college there's no place for ties anymore since they made the rule change where after each team has the possesion starting at the 20 once they score they have to go for 2 after that. Which, usually determines a winner.
