So I like this guy...and hes gay. He said he started noticing guys more than girls...I told him I used to like him and all the sudden he asked me for my number and to hang out sometime, but I KNOW he is gay..and that leaves me confused and all considering I STILL DO LIKE HIM.
What does that mean?
And is it possible to turn him straight?

But my friend was also with us..and they got along fine but he didnt keep smiling at her..ands asking to have her number or include her to hang out.

Dear Kitty.
Anything is possible.
But in THIS case I think we’ll all agree that turning a gay person hetero is right up there with turning brown eyes blue, [It can sort of be dun with contacts. But the eyes under the lenses are really still brown.], or changing hair color. [A $3.oo bottle of hair die will do the trick for a week or so but the truth will start to show before long.]
I think most of us can understand. Yes it’s possible to browbeat, threaten, and worse someone into the closet and make them behave like everyone else. But in reality he’ll still be gay… and miserable.
Based on what you have posted I’m guessing he MAY be Bi. Or is simply looking for a good friend.

Yes it is very possible. I have a current boyfriend that used to be the most flaming gay in town. He is no longer attracted to men and on the Up side the only woman he is attracted to is me. Anything is possible, but it really does take a certain girl to turn a gay man straight. He would also have to start liking you which believe it or not can happen.

Well you ask the question as if you -wanted- to have a guy try to turn you gay. Obviously, your here asking the question it means something to you, so apparently someone did get through to you, and either your asking the question or begging for someone to tell you how you can magically begin liking guys. I know plenty of gay guys that are beginning to force themselves to like girls, i don't know why, but they just want a wife and kids even though their completely homosexual. I'd say the same can be said for the opposite way, that maybe you could force yourself to like males. I mean, your still getting pleasure, just from the same sex ;), and who knows, you may find a guy that you think is attractive. Also, just from experience.. I talked to a 'straight' guy, who still claims to be straight, even after we 'broke up', after all the cuddling/I love you/fun boyfriend/girlfriend stuff (minus sex). So..

And exactly what secret weapon do you have to turn him straight. I mean have you got Diamonds around it?? He may just like you as a person and wants to hang out with you, or do you see yourself purely as a sex object and thats all men want you for, if thats the case you have a low opinion of yourself. Anyway if you have a platonic relationship with this guy it will probably last longer than you having a lover?? Gay men usually make long term great friends.

If a gay guy asks you for your #, it doesn't mean he's now straight. It means he wants to be "one of the girls" in your clique, and is just asking to have your # in case he ever want to call and "just talk".
I ask females for their #s all the time...they know, I am gay, I am not asking for their # for a booty call!
You cannot change a gay man into a straight man. If you get him drunk enough to the point that he blacks out, you may be able to take advantage of the situation (I had a girl do that to me), but, otherwise, no.

It's possible he's bisexual. It's also possible that he just wants to be your friend. If he really is gay (like, 100% all the way gay) then, no, you can't turn him straight unless he completely suppresses his sexuality. Such suppression is psychologically damaging and could create even bigger problems even further down the road.

It means he's not gay, most likely bisexual like myself. Unless he was just lying to get you to say that to him. You never know. But no, you can't turn someone who is gay, straight.

If he really is gay you shouldn't try to turn his straight.
1.) It probably won't work.
2.) It's his sexual orientation. it's who he is. You shouldn't pressure him to change. That's like someone pressuring you to be a lesbian. Get it?
