Just makes me wonder why the GOP all jumped on the resign bandwagon so fast and gave Senator Vitter a standing ovation when he admitted he had paid prostitutes for sex and had committed adultery after he had previously denied it? All he had to do was admit it and say "I'm sorry." And Vitter was forgiven?
Don't blame the Democrats over this or the so called "liberal" media. "Disgusting" is the term used by the GOP, Mitt Romney and many others who just a few weeks ago called Craig a "friend".
Won't even start on stuff others wrote. Just this, read your history better and start getting your facts right folks. You have ALOT of your facts wrong. Don't bother commenting if you don't know FACTS. Don't trust what you hear. Research it for yourself. I don't care if you listen or read Liberal or Conservative news, radio or media. Check out several resources and decided for yourself!!!!!
Also, thank you to Minuteman. I now have a new source to find more about the crimes of the Republicans. Your list of Democrat crimes is interesting. Though if one reads it, you go back to the 1940's to make your list. I will be able to make one MUCH longer and only have to go to the 1960's at most. HECK, thanks to Bush, Cheney, Gonzales and all their friends, I may not have to even go back to Nixon. LOL

Scapegoat?! are you kidding? For what? even his own party was ashamed of him. They thought that he was going to cost them votes so they forced him out. If anything the Republican party needs a scapegoat to get our minds off of this fiasco.
But I'm glad he's out of our Congress. Who wants a bold faced liar leading them.... Either way he lied; purjury if he plead guilty when he wasn't (yeah right) or about the solicitation in the first place. I mean, c'mon! The person he solicited was a undercover cop in a place well know for dudes picking up dudes! And he has the nerve to be against gay rights...
How about upholding family values or not committing adultery?! I guess he forgot those in picking and choosing what issues are important enough to fight for. I feel so sorry for his family and wish them (not him) the best.

He got screwed, but not where he likes it! Rep. Barney Frank was caught using a male prostitute, but he was not forced to resign. Craig's crimes was a minor felony, and he could have fought to keep his job, but his hypocrisy made him a great target for the Dems, so he had to go. I am glad because he was pro-amnesty for illegals.

I've come to the conclusion that he was was forced out for no other reason than the GOP was pissed off at him. They were broad sided and embarrassed by his actions which is why you saw virtually no support for him earlier in the week.

All over the nation, lonely Democrats are lining up at bathroom stalls, hoping to find love.

For some reason i feel he may be a scapegoat.
Nothing in politics seems to make sense for me at first but then looking back I usually see why something happened.
