I think its two sentences, there are periods at the last word and capitals for first words.

the unscrambled words must have erased last time i played otherwise i would have it.

the last time i played the words must have erased otherwise i would have unscramble it.

gosh, i been doing this for like the last 20 or so minutes. i just can't figure it out. i added another word to get those two sentences. is there any chance you left out a word or two?


edit...since you gave additional details i thought i would give this another shot. okay...still can't figure it out. i got this but i don't know.

Love answering things 5 years too late! You divide the sentence into 2 equal parts. Then you switch between the first letter of the first part and then the first of the second part and so on. Constantly take the next letter from both parts and you get: Well, this was a bit unexpected.
