One of my favorites is abbreviation because it is such a long word for what it describes.

I have many favorite words. "Nanny" is what my grandson calls me. I love the word "Desiderata" because of the quote you will see at the site I've included. Most of all, I love the word "Tujormidlarnak" which is an Inuktitut word meaning "Don't be lonely."
