Misery is a harsh word. I would call it a period of self discovery. People can learn many things from misery. Life is not pink, if you go to hard you're better prepared. You become more realistic, more knowledgeable about everything around and something then comes to mind. Clarity, is a trait that people with misery share because we can analyze our situations and find a simpler answer.

I used to years ago but then I realized that i didn't like where I was going and that duh I was more miserable than before... so now I try to fix or change what is bringing me discomfort at the moment....
