Work it out step by step, starting inside the brackets:
( 1 + 24 / 3)^2
= (1 + 8)^2
= 9^2
= 81.

Remember the acronym BEDMAS
Brackets first
Exponents next
Division next
Multiplication next
Addition
Subtraction last
These operations are to be carried out reading from left to right.
I'm going to assume, in your problem, that only the value 24 is divided by 3.
(1+24/3)^2
Brackets first
(1+8)^2
I still have brackets.
(9)^2
81
If the problem was meant to be { (1+24)/3 }^2
{ (25) /3 }^2
(25/3 X 25/3 =625/9

well... there isn't variables so there isn't nothing to find... however if you want "remove the parantheses" use the propety of perfect square binomy (or some like that) that says:
(a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2, replacing
(1 + 24/3)^2 = 1 + 2*1*24/3 + (24/3)^2
(1 + 24/3)^2 = 1 + 2*8 + 8^2 = 81
good luck and bye

Or
(1 + 24 / 3)²
First, you solve the sum of fractions
1 + 24
..... ----
...... 3
1 x 3 + 24 x 1
-------------------- =
.........3
3 + 24
--------- =
....3
27
---- =
.3
9
Then ...9 ....squared
( 9 )² =
81
Solve (1 + 24 / 3)² = 81
