ok so my doctor wants to put me on the pill and i noticed that some girls that are on it have facial hair does that really happen wen ur on birth control please help cause i am gonna go on it soon

it can cause different side effects for different people.. i know one very common side effect are brown spots that form on your skin (though i don't remember what its called). Also severe migranes are another very common side effect and facial hair can be.
Best way to know is to try it out for a little while if you notice any side effects you should be fine and they should go away on their own, as long as you stop the pills when you first notice. u should be fine though good luck =)

It definitely shouldn't. Unless it has testosterone which is a male hormone. BC pill makes your body produce more of the feminine hormone. So it would make no sense because feminine hormones do not cause facial hair.

NO, they do not give you facial hair.
Most women who have facial hair ALREADY have it when they go on the pill.
I have facial hair, but it is from my PCOS, NOT the pill. I have had facial hair for 32 years. I have been on the pill for 14 years.

sure can along with a few other side effects. they have a new thing now, they put it under the skin in your arm and it lasts a year or something. call planned parenthood. and if your on the pill, don't smoke. very bad....

i have never heard of this .i wouldn,t panic eventually as you get older and your hormones change your more likely to get facial hair then.i know plenty of people on the pill and there faces are as smooth as babies bums lol

not that i know of but it could make you gain wheight and mess up you having kids in the future and can give you breast cancer if it runs in your family i know cuz my doctor wanted to put me on it and once you read the affects it is not worth it just use a condom or if it is because you have a heavy flow and craps try a heating pad and Motrin
