Politicians make decisions that effect our every day lives. But they are never drug tested.
A applicant for a minimum wage job has to take a drug test and his job does not impact our lives.

Politicians should not be allowed to use any type of drug or alcohol while in office. If they have a medical condition that requires mind altering drugs they should be forced to resign.

They absolutely should be tested. I am a member of the United States Military, and get random drug tests. My bosses, the Governor of my state, the President, and all other Politicians should have to follow the same standards as the military who serves them. They should be setting the explain for the general public. Perhaps you should start a petition in your town. If we all start small with our own cities, maybe we can make this official!
