I know i need to know what drink they want, what im saying is why cant people say I want a #1 with a coke or whatever
Not just I want a #1 and a #3..... so on.
Its like they expect ME to read their minds.
Im not that angry im just sick of it and i am trying to get out of fast food
Also i never disrespect the customers until they disrespect me to a point
Ive worked at 3 different fast food places and its all the same
Im not a bad worker every fastfood job ive had they wanted me to be a manager ( i know wohu great for me right)
I just wish i could record people in the drive thru and play it back to them at the window so they can hear how stupid and rude they sound

i agree...its like they say number 3 and thats all and i am like sm. md. or lrg. and what would you like to drink and they get a huge attitude because i can't read their mind. or when they wait for me to ask them for stuff. people are very rude to me where i work and im a manager. i am very nice to all of the customers even when they are mean...accept when they want to cuss at me and be a total ...well..you know. then i refuse to serve them if i can't calm them down. its like they think just because they bought food doesn't give them the right to disrespect us. or when i hand orders out i say thank you and have a nice day and they just drive away and wont even say thanks or smile. and i love it when they order a sandwich and a drink and when they get their food they look in the bag and yell at me because there aren't any fries. well first of all they didn't say combo so why would i put fries in there...and then they get mad when they have to pay for fries they didn't even order. they don't understand that we can't just give away food. i understand also that some people have had bad experiences in drive thrus ....so why do you have to be sooo stinkin rude...just save your breath and come inside if you don't truse coming through the drive thru. and another thing, just because we work at fast food doesn't mean we are some low IQed pimply faced idiot (I'm not saying i am a genious...and i do have pimples) but geeze people lighten up and try to have a good day and smile every now and then! thats why i hate fast food because everyone thinks they are superior to you because of the kind of job you do and really they have no stinkin clue how much stress you put up with and how fast paced it is. people are just so self centered. they don't realize that just because they are having a bad day it doesn't mean they have to make everyone else's miserable! I mean i have people give me the finger, cuss at me, yell at me, demand fre food...ect all the time...and i just wish people would be mature about it..speek calmly about it w/out yelling and whatever it is can be fixed...plus you'll get your food faster. Or when you repeat their order bcak to make sure it's correct and they drive away and then get irrate because it got messed up...maybe if you would have listened then it would have gotten fixed before they even got their food...whew i think im done
OH AND SANDWICHES ARE NEVER PREMADE!!!!!!
ITS FRESH TO ORDER!!!!
And when you order you don't have to wait to be asked what you want to drink or what size...don't you already know what you want to drink? Or does someone asking you somehow make you know what you want? I mean is it that hard to say I would like a number 2 small with a sprite and thats all...how hard is that seriously?

I agree with you up to a point. I order my food the way you ask but a lot of times the person working the drive-thru has absolutely no idea what I've just said. It's really hard to believe how bad communications are sometimes. I'd rather just drive up to the window and order right there because it beats having to repeat various parts of my order one or two times.
And be honest with me. You guys purposely forget to put my fries in the bag right? It's some type of cost cutting deal or something? I'm guessing there's a percentage or ratio that all of the food chains have mapped out which states that only a certain amount of customers will actually drive back for forgotten food or wrong orders through the drive-thru. I know I sure don't.
I'm a happy customer friend! Thanks for your service.

Okay, I understand the first part. If someone is ordering at the front desk, he/she automatically gets an empty cup, which they can fill with anything they want. But if they're ordering at the window, then they should tell you what kind of drink they want. Some people are just lazy. But naturally, people automatically assume that if there's a screw-up with their order, it's your fault, because they can't yell at the guy/gal prepping their order, because they would have to shout across the counter, and make themselves look stupid. It's all part of the business. I work at a supermarket, and I often wonder why some people do the things they do. You just have to take it in stride.

i saw a deal on hand lotion for 25% off. i went down to the store ahead of time to check out the regular price. it was 6 dollars regularly. so i thought ok that's a little better deal than i usually get, so i'll come back and get it, cause i don't feel like carrying it up the hill today. ( i had gone on foot ). so today i decided to make the trek back there to pick up the lotion. i bought a lot of stuff, and the total seemed about right. so i lugged it all home and mom asks how much i spent, and i bought a lot of stuff so i'm like, oh a lot!! so i get out the receipt. and it seems they over charged me. i was like :OOOOO. but they're supposed to be 4 bucks each, not 4.49 each!!! i exclaimed calling down the stairs to my mom, they over charged me! because regular price is 6 dollars, and they're 25 percent off which is 4 dollars... o wait.... Lol

no. what i dont like is when they order their food. and once they get to the window, they tell u that they dont want pickles or whatever and its like hello. this is fastfood, we already got ur food ready and ur just now telling us. also, when u ask if theyd like their combo small medium or large. they say yes. like yes to what?? or chocolate or vanilla frosty. their response is yes. like hello? which one? or when u ask would u like that in a combo..their response...whats a combo?
fast food customers are all retarded. i strongly personally believe that EVERYONE needs to work fastfood and see how it is. its not all make a sandwich ur done and go home. its alot of stress, pleasing customers, making orders correctly. its alot of work. i bet after they work there, theyd give the people who work there now sum slack. or order correctly at least.

Do we read minds? Do we know what you wanna drink? geez no. God I hate when people do that at Popeyes. They just say they want the number 1 and go quiet. They don't say what type of chicken, like spicy or mild or what pieces they want or side orders. Am I suppose to read your fricken mind to know what you want?

I disagree with your first rant. They know it comes with a drink, but what kind do you want? They don't know what you want.
People who work at minimum wage jobs seem to be lazy if they are over age 25. They don't care. They just want to get your order done with. Sandwiches are pre-made so taking off cheese or a pickle is a tough job for them.
You seem angry about angry hungry people.
