(30-Q)/2=P

Q = 30 - 2P

Add 2P to and subtract Q from both sides...

2P = 30 - Q

Divide through both sides by 2...

P = (30 - Q)/2

Isolate P

Q-30 = 30 - 30 - 2P
Q-30 = -2P

P = (Q-30)/-2
P = 15 - (1/2)Q
