Dear lyndyloo, this isnt abt me seeing such flaws in my lover. I would love him with everythin he has.

To all, actually its ME who has a little problem. Sometimes i dissuade my man from our relationship saying how inadequate i am for him, with my skin illness and a terrible allergy and all.. But he wont let go of me for anything. I just wanted to know the other many nice people out there who are also like him. Thanks for answering.

To the asker: I used to be the same way. In fact, I would wear clothing in 90 degree weather just to cover up my skin condition. But the closer we got the less uncomfortable I was about it. I still nervous sometimes when he touches a spot where I have an outbreak of eczema but it goes away because he reassures me that he doesnt care about it and that he loves me. I'm glad you found someone who feels the same way about you.

Yes. I dated a guy once who was missing all his front teeth due to cancer and who wasn't attractive otherwise at all. Everybody said they totally wouldn't get us as a couple. He ended up dumping ME because he was afraid I was the one who wouldn't stay faithful because he thought I was more attractive.

A little skin problem is nothing. People find love all the time with acne, weird birth marks, disfigurement, etc. Just look at the love story below.

Yes. If you love someone it shouldn't matter. Might need some getting used to but soon it would be normal to you as if it were normal or not even there.

This reminds me of my boyfriend. He has something weird going on with the skin on his right hand. His fingers look like they're peeling and it's all pretty gross looking. We're not sure what it is, either.

I still love him just the same, with his bad hand or not. :)

If I already loved them, I would not stop just because of psoriasis or something like that. I admit that it may stop me from being initially attracted to someone I just met.

"How beautiful..." when spoken from the heart...no words can
describe its meaning...and yet, even this word falls short in explaining what is LOVE...is it wrong to love the whole and not the part?...is it wrong to love from within and grow with each beat of the heart?...is it wrong when one accepts "what
is" and still offers his heart without question? in matters of the
heart, there lies the answer "two becomes ONE becomes two." either way...it begins in the heart...I say "YES" 2bz...

I love for the person inside not from what he looks like!

if its not serious, and i got to know and love that person when they had it, it would not make a difference to me. i do not love conditionally like that...

but if i just met someone that had something so bad that they reeked of decay and/or infection, i might have a tad worse time of getting to know them, etc.
