Let's factor out a negative sign first

25x^2 - y^4 = -(-25x^2 + y^4)

so you end up with

-(y^4 - 25x^2)

Does this look familiar? Remember a^2 - b^2 = (a+b)(a-b)

a=y^2
b=5x

-(y^2 + 5x) (y^2 - 5x)
