Tampa Bay is a very good team. They are also a great team to cheer for, their two best players are Vincent Lecavalier ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincent_lecavalier ) and Martin St. Louis ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_St._Louis ). These are also two of the best players in the NHL, not the best, but definitely up there. The Lightning have a very good fan base, they have lots of fans. The Lightning won the Stanley Cup in the 2003-2004 season. Do NOT cheer for the Florida Panthers, they have a very weak team, and almost no fans. If you live in Florida, cheer for the Lightning.

They can say what they like but this old man loves our Tampa Bay Lightning!Theres a lot of good teams out there and I enjoy watching any of them. Win or lose I will still support the Lightning! Go Guys Go
Florida also has The FLA Panthers,our rival,all ways a hard fought game.

Tampa Bay is good and has some of the best players in the league. They just won the cup 3 years ago.
The Florida Panthers is the other Florida team. They will be pretty good this year, maybe even win the division.
Star players
TB - Vinny Lecavalier, Martin St.Louis, Brad Richards, Dan Boyle
FLA - Olli Jokinen, Nathan Horton, Tomas Vokoun, Jay Bouwmeester and a bunch of good youngsters coming up.

Tampa Bay has talent and a great coach.They are fun to watch.Florida Panthers are kind of bland-like white rice .
Dont limit yourself to Florida get on the NHL website and pick a team.

What is with the brackets around the TB 'Ning there?
I think winning a Cup makes them automatically "good" as does making the playoffs last season.
What do you mean "can u tell me any florida teams if there is any"? I mean, you have Net access. It's not brain surgery to find out that the Florida Panthers are the other NHL team in the state.

JC, when have the Panthers won a SC? I dont recall that one, they were in the finals but lost to Colorado.

They did win the Stanley cup recently (2003-04) and are Lucky enough to have 2 top point getter's on the team.
Vincent Leclavier - Rocket Trophy for most goals and 3rd for points.
Martin St. Louis was 5th in points and goals.
Florida Panthers is the other team.

Florida panthers & Tampa bay Lightining
Florida is a still a lower ranking team but they do have talent. A former SC winner but have years to rebuld a good club.
TB is a good team. Also a former SC winner. Arguably they have the best triple threat in hockey -- Brad Richards, Vincent lecavalier, &Martin St.Louis. I expect them to make the playoffs in the future.
