Overrated or underrated?

Funny as hell show. I enjoy watching it with my kids. I guess I'd have to say underrated, because even though it's touted as rude and crude, Spongebob is actually kind (though naive) and cares deeply about his friends and family. These are better qualities than a lot of cartoon characters depict.

Leaning more towards overrated but I like him. Didn't until I got out of high school though, there was waaaaay too much hype among seniors in high school about a freakin cartoon.

Overrated. But I still watch on occasion. My favorite episode is the one about "Sentence Enhancers".
"Hey Squidward, how the #@*&!$ are ya?"

Definitely overrated in my opinion. Spongebob's laugh makes me want to scream.

One of my favorite shows, not overrated! a show that is overrated is probably anything on MTV!
