Can't say anything. No Michigan fan should have anything to say. They flat got outplayed. At home. By Appalachian St. Wow does it suck to be a Michigan fan right now. So now U of M isn't a championship contender in two divisions of college fb. Maybe we can bean the Div 2 champ.

No, I give Appalachian State a lot of credit, but Michigan was still playing a DIV 1-AA team. They're 1-AA for a reason and for a BCS School, ranked 5th in the country this game should have been a win, automatic. Hey, but that's why they play the game...
Appalachian St. came in and executed their game plan. Michigan looked bad, and they will drop in the polls. Over rated??? Probably, a bit...but don't look for them to drop out of the polls...probably ranked in the teens now.

I think it's obvious that they made a mistake.
Though if they are going to play AA schools, at least they picked a good program and not Northwest Fargo North Dakota College for the Quadrupeligic.
We got a great week 1 game out of the deal.

people are acting like appalachian state is the worst team ever. They have dominated division 1-AA for years. Michigan still should have creamed them and it was still one of the greatest upsets ever. But dont treat Appalachian State like a pile of crap

They're a Div 1AA team. They changed the Div 1AA to something else but i still say 1AA. I think Michigan shouldh've schedualed for the school Wannabe St. Mary's School for Cripple Girls. lol.

I think that Division I-A teams having first games against I-AA teams is ridiculous for the most part, it is nice to see that a I-AA team finally won a big one, maybe that will give teams pause when scheduling future games.

I am sick of Michigan fans making excuses and blaming the coach. They flat out got their asses whipped by a better team. They are 2 time National Champs which was decided on the field, not by computers. GO MOUNTIES!!!!
