Your Q wasn't childish or immature. Flirting on line IS childish and immature WHEN you are in a relationship.

Hi Jake ...
I hope you don't mind, but I read through these 2 questions. If you are referring to Martha then I think you should re-read her answer. She wasn't calling your question childish and immature she was calling the "act" of flirting online while in a relationship that.
I am not sticking up for her ... I don't know her. But I find it is SO easy to misconstrue what people say here. Sometimes we look WAY too into it or take it too seriously (myself included). I asked a question the other night about rude answers and got a lot of great responses. The main advice being don't let the random thoughts of some rude stranger get you down. Even if someone does get rude like that you are giving them the attention they do not at all deserve when you acknowledge them in this way. You must be better than that and I am quite sure you are.
Hope it was OK to be honest ... it's just not worth it to let Q & A get ya down. The good here outweighs the bad in my opinion and I'll focus my energy on that instead.
Peace to you ...

I would read it again - think about it really hard then consider if you were right or not ---even a childish question deserves an honest answer !

No. If my question was childish and immature then I hope I'd take it as feedback. If my question wasn't then I'd just ignore that response. It kind of helps to know yourself, and to know the person who said it.

I would consider the source and then if it was meant to be an insult then I would take it as such!

Well, I wouldn't take it seriously because they didn't spell immature correctly, and if they can't spell immature than they must be either uneducated or childish and immature themselves.
