Why not raise the level of intelligence to this forum by asking relevant, interesting questions instead of simply resorting to juvenile barbs, childish name-calling, idiotic insults, and worthless accusations just to demonstrate how much hatred, bias and bigotry you have in your heart?
By the way, you might want to consider learning more about liberalism and conservatism before your critical rants and raves. Here's Webster's definitions:
CONSERVATISM: "a political philosophy based on tradition and social stability, stressing established institutions, and preferring gradual development to abrupt change";
LIBERALISM: "a political philosophy based on a belief in progress, the essential goodness of man, the autonomy of the individual and standing for the protection of political and civil liberties."
Is there a 'conservative' who doesn't want social stability?
Is there a 'liberal' who doesn't believe in the goodness of man?
It looks to me like there's a little bit of BOTH political philosophies in BOTH conservatives and liberals. So why all the hatred, bigotry, bias, and barbs?? This country could use a lot more unification instead of such stupid and senseless division just because most people who give themselves such inane labels don't even know what those labels mean. -RKO- 09/01/07

The question is pointless on so many levels, especially since government cheese hasn't been handed out in years. It's been replaced by the WIC program. Do you have a problem with children receiving proper nutrition?

When I was managing a mobile home park I had tenants who would want to trade their government cheese and peanut butter for rent or cigarettes.

There's a chance that some of that cheese is cut up and sold to you on your sandwich at $6.00 a pop. That's how people get ahead: by hustling ignorant self important neocons in plain sight

If you think you are a self made individual think again.
Efforts by liberals has impacted every aspect of your life.
Many of the poor who are helped by the government would 2 to 1 call themselves religious and conservative about many social issues like abortion, try not to be so norrow-minded.
Aside: There is no black market for gov. cheese.
How about raising the conversation!
Or aren't you clever enough to argue facts?
Mel: You know somehing I respect the fact that your son is trying to fulfill what he deems his patriotic duty. Why don't you help address the serious problems we have in our government and make his sacrifices worth it?
How is contributing to the ridiculous lowering of social discourse helping his life when he comes home?
I would like to believe that in your shoes if I had a child serving my country that I would want it to be for a good reason. War profitteering is not a good reason!!
Our government using Fascist practices to subvert the constitution is not honorable!!
Our government keeps saying how they are in Iraq to bring freedom and Democracy to Iraq.
By breaking U.S. law and finding ways to infringe on our citizens civil liberties and freedoms provided in the constitution?!?!?!?!
Please rethink your course!
