do you think we would have enough man power or gun power to rebell agianst our own government in this day and age? why or why not?

Rebellion is not the way to go but you should let your representatives and news medias know how you feel.This coming election is also another big step for change or not.

A recent study showed there are about 650 million small arms around the world.270 million of those firearms are in the U.S. There are a variety of guns that are privately owned.The AR-15 is pretty common.The much less expensive AK-47 is a favorite among many Americans also and your average deer rifle can make a good sniper rifle.Hell,I own a variety of weapons also.A Yugoslavian SKS with NATO standard 22mm Grenade launcher and yes I own it legally.And believe me,anyone who really needs to can get a hold of the grenades for it also,you just have to get in good with the Russian Mafia.I also own an 8mm Mauser that can easily have a scope mounted on it and be converted into a sniper rifle and I also have a CZ-52 and a shotgun which can be used for close quarters combat.There are enough guns in this country to arm 9 out of 10 citizens.Its also very easy to make chemical weapons out of household cleaning materials.You can also get a hold of dynamite from any big time demolition company,and when I say that I mean stealing it,it would not be too hard during a revolution.Take that dynamite and cover a few sticks with construction nails and you have yourself a nailbomb.Nailbombs are a favorite among terrorists and you can bet your a** plenty of people here know about them.Its one thing when a foreign invader comes at us.The thing here is you have millions of people armed and with a foot hold all over this country.There would not be enough time for the government to react.They would be overwhelmed too quickly.A lot of the guns I have are pretty old,but I can tell you they are just as good as any gun made today.The mechanics on small arm has not really changed too much.Its the materials used to make them that have changed.

Probably, but that isn't the problem in my opinion. What I see is the problem is you have to eliminate Homeland Security and get rid of the Adolph Hitler clone who is running it first. Once that is done, everything else should fall into place. Homeland Sec can tap your phones now, arrest you on false charges any time they want and the way their charter is set up, you cannot do anything about it. Next they will want to collect all the guns, just like Germany in WWII. All the money that was earmarked for New Orleans relief? What happened to it? It went into the coffers of Homeland Sec and specifically into the pocket of the moron in charge of it. In my opinion if Georgie wasn't an idiot before he sure is now for handing the country over to a bunch of Nazis like Homeland Sec and it's boss.

yes we would, in the Declaration it does say the right to bear arms this amendment was put in there so the government would not overthrow the people, heck there are ppl with grenades and homemade bombs and all kinds of stuff so if something did come up ppl would be overly prepared, and think about this for every 1 representative of the gov. there are about 10 us citizens. :)

We'd need a heck of a lot of expendable people with a heck of a lot of hunting rifles to pull any kind of rebellion off.

we need to gather in large groups (100,000 or so) and incorporate so we can get tax shelters, lobby in DC and make environmental changes with no personal or financial risk. In fact i'm fairly certain we could reclaim our rights and become quite financially stable as a result. if not we could file corporate bankruptcy without affecting our personal assets and pay ourselves large corporate bonuses as is customary.
