And a blue tail that falls off will confuse a predator, allowing the lizard to escape. The tail grows back.
And as for the person who says they are dangerous and the tail can sting you, that is complete nonsense and that person has no business answering anyone's questions.

There not poisonous.well don't touch a blue tailed lizards tail...the tail stings you if you touch it.So the tail is kind of poisonous.But the rest of its body is not poisonous.But the tail is.
