i can't believe what im seeing to be quite honest. played.no fluidity no movement no chances.half our shots on target were from outside the box.
last game we were lucky to get all 3 points.so what the hell is going wrong and is teves quite possibly the flop of the season?
more than anything im worried..

i think for the next game against everton this is what the team should look like.
4-4-2
rooney saha
giggs carrick scholes ronaldo
and same back 4. this is the team that won us the league and it wasnt no coincidence.agree?

im not completely happy, but weve been unlucky with having rooney and neville injured.

tevez was put in at the deep end and is the type of player that needs someone to support him, as you saw today towards the end of the game they got a bit of a flow going on. i dont think he'll be a flop, i just think once he adjusts as he did at west ham last season he'll be brilliant, he works his socks off and i cant wait to see if him and rooney will be a great partnership.

i usually like brown, but he makes one too many mistakes and i cant wait till nevilles fully fit as we take for granted what he brings to the team sometimes, im still thinking that selling heinze was not the wisest choice we've ever made cause evra can look very suspect sometimes when defending and gives the ball away to easily altough he's great at going forward and provides us with extra width down the left.
to be honest the only ones that look solid at the back are vidic and van der saar, i think rio can be a bit too lazy sometimes, and he better watch out cause the way campbell and micah richards are playing he might end up losing his place in the england squad.

scholesy is always solid, he sees what everyone is doing and is totally unselfish, he was man of the match for us today. I think we payed to much for carrick and hargreaves, i really like them both but they cost us just under 40 million. Nani's ok but you can tell his no ronaldo and andersson didnt make a very impressive debut, did he? i thouht saha was brilliant when he came on, that spin and shot that he done were world class and gordon made a great save. in the end we scraped a 1-0 as we did last week and i didnt expect anything more, the team needs time to adjust, and we desperately need ronaldo back who terrifies defences and can change games by himself, thats what were missing at the moment, once we get him back next week and get a regular team playing together we'll see the man u were used to, fergies no fool. and to any idiot thats saying we'll be lucky to finish top 6, you must be seriously deluded.
we're managing to scrape results playing as crap as we are, imagine what will be like when we get our top players back and get our flow back.

Man Utd will make the season hard graft for all there supporters as they do every season as I am sure you are aware. Yesterday was a lucky win for us over Sunderland and the king came back to Old Trafford to see his team loose against his real love which is Manchester United as if you remember what he said to Nots Forest when her was about to be sold "I am going to Manchester United nowhere else". and he definitely stuck to is plan. I realise he is Manager of sunderland but I and many United fans will probably see where his heart still is and that is with us. We will come around just relax now I know that is easier said than done when you support Manchester United but I am sure everything will work out for the best for us.

I was inter railing for the last month and oblivious to footie, and the god damn shock of seein city above us and hearing that they are playin well. To say the least I'm disgruntled. However having said this, and as a United fan, you'll agree, we'll get better sooner rather than later cause Alex Ferguson is the best manager around.

Give Tevez time, he will get better, but I would not have chosen him as a striker I would have bought, Torres would have been the ideal choice.

dont worry, it will all slot into place, watched utd for 35 years, rooney and ronaldo are big misses at the moment, ronaldo is back for next game, neville will be back soon, rooney not long after. saha looked sharp tonight, anderson has potential, nani looking good, hargreaves looks very tidy. Tevez will struggle playing as a lone striker, but looked a lot better when saha came on. every team will come with 10 men behind the ball to the theatre of dreams this season so patience is essential, which they showed lots of today. Watched all 5 games united have dominated them, but struggle to score, the white pele will be back soon and the goals will flow.

Chill out everybody. 4 major, key players missing! Give Tevez time,he needs another player up front with him, which he hasn`t had the last couple of games. I don`t think you will think he is a flop by the end of the season, i don`t think he will be top scorer by any means but he will be a good and committed squad member. There was some good play today, despite some young players, Eagles, Anderson, Nani.
No i`m not disgruntled.

No im not!! Sunderland was a tough opponent with a great midfielder, good defence and a superb goal keeper...If saha would have been there at the start of the game we might have had 2 to 3 goals...i think the absence of rooney, ronaldo, giigs, gary is causing disruption..by the time they are back, which will hopefully be in time for the game with everton,Manu will be back in form!!! Wohoooo!

You certainly weren't great today. Scholes is class but too many around him are average. You desperately need Giggs, Rooney and Ronaldo back that's for sure. Don't worry though, you'll still be challenging at the end of the season

Your team is so different without Rooney but especially with Ronaldo missing, if those two were missing for eighteen games like RVP and Henry were last season, I think you would be lucky to finish in the top six.

I will be glad to see Ronaldo and Giggs back on the wings, we need to play with wingers.
Saha and Tevez should work well together given time.
