I have heard some say if it is illegal to ask another person for sex, we are all criminals!! This may be true depending on where you live. It has to do with the way the law is written.

The way the law in MN is written, what the former senator did is illegal (I'm not buying the excuses he made for his actions- He's guilty). While I don't know the law word for word, I believe it comes down to this. It is a lewd act to petition another for sex in a public restroom in MN (Maybe in public in general- though that would lead to a lot of problems). In other states, what Craig did is not illegal.

there are cerain things that lead up to an encounter. you cant actually do the deed with a cop to get arrested you have to have intent, and to have intent there are several things that must happen. apparantly they happened, a series of movements, gestures or touches and whatever else. I mean you gonna touch the guys foot next door? If you do and keep doing it well I think you smoke tube steak.

He plead to disorderly conduct. His party has shamed him out of office. Whatever he did was apparently a nuisance in the MN bathroom.

I believe he had a couple different charges against him. But he got a plea deal where they would drop the charges except one as long as he plead guilty. And I guess that was the one.
