When I was about 16 I worked in a clothes store which isn't too bad. The bad part was that the Korean lady that owned the store made me watch her 4 year old daughter more than anything else. I had to take her to lunch all the time and all she ever ate was hot dogs. I hate hot dogs, the smell of hot dogs and the girls breath cause it smelled like hot dogs! SO you could imagine why I didn't like the job. One day I just left for lunch alone and never went back.

I worked at Lowe's for six months. HATED IT. I only took the job because I had to, the shop I had worked at was closing and I had a car payment to take care of. At the time I wasn't the slightest bit interested in home improvement projects, nor landscaping. They made such a big deal out of their "knowledgeable experts" but they gave us no training whatsoever (and I never lied on a job application, I had no knowledge about the stuff, never claimed to). I made up stuff all the time, especially when they stuck me in lawn & garden. I'm sure people had all kinds of dead plants to return, but hey, that's what they get for hiring me as a cashier and sticking me where I don't know what I'm doing.

A collections associate! Imagine being on a phone all day, getting yelled at, cursed at...and meeting financial goals every week, otherwise look for another job.

I had this job where I had to work alone, and I often freaked myself out over little creaks and noises I would hear late at night...I worked til midnight. I was always waiting for someone to jump out and scare me. The phone would ring, and I'd jump. I was real jumpy at that point in my life, I guess.

I worked for 6 hours in a Call Room, selling some kind of hokey jewelry. I just got up, got my purse, and walked out.

Salesman. Just didn't have the flair for being able to sell something and push my product. Couldn't deal with the loss of self-esteem when people said no, and couldn't get them to say yes.
