Topps Chewing Gum was the complete name of the company back then. Believe it or not, there used to be a slice of pink bubble gum in the pack of cards.
Just a bit of trivia: the 1971 baseball cards were a pack of 10 cards for 10 cents plus the gum.

I still love collecting baseball cards. There are a lot of products and a lot of different cards. I just have to be more selective and focus my collection. Because of the price, I do a lot of research to the set before I buy a box. Many sets I don't bother with but there are some winners like Allen and Ginter. A new development in the hobby is blogs and video box breaks. And because of forums and ebay I can get singles easier and cheaper.
