I read about ten different newspapers via their web editions. Seven of them are English language versions of foreign dailies. The list includes my local paper, Stars & Stripes, Christian Science Monitor and papers from different continents.
The NY Times lost all credibility with me several years ago. They had a bureau chief posted to Tokyo for nearly 20 years and the man never learned one word of Japanese. What credence was I to give to his dispatches?

that truthfully relies upon on how well timed you like your information to be. For every day information, the Arizona Republic has a Scottsdale version. after which there is the Scottsdale Tribune. there are a number of weekly and month-to-month newspapers which could be picked up at grocery shops, coffee stands. i like those because of the fact they're generally very "localized".
