yes, of course, they will just have different birthdays and i'm sure it would make life so much easier to do that.
A twin is defined as two children being produced from one fertilised egg.

That no-one knows the answer to???
That most people do know the answer to! You could not have done biology at school. Twins are conceived during the same menstrual cycle -
either 2 eggs are released and both fetilised (non-identical)
or 1 egg is released and fertilised then it divides into 2 seperate cells/embryos (identcal twins)
The definition of twins has nothing to do with the timing of birth.

Twins are womb mates. They are considered twins no matter when they are born in relation to each other.
Sometimes they are born within minutes of each other, sometimes hours. Depending on timing, this can give each twin their own individual birth days, and in fact in some cases twins have been born in different years (when one was born before midnight on December 31, and the other born after midnight on January 1).
There have also been cases where twins were born MONTHS apart. This occurs rarely, but when premature labor happens and they manage to keep the second twin in the womb until closer to the due date.
But again, womb mates are considered twins even if they are born on different days, even if that gives them different birth years and/or they are born months apart.

Yes, of course. What else would you call them? Being twins doesn't have anything to do with sharing a birthday. They developed in the same womb and were born at roughly the same time to the same mother.
Look at it this way: If 2 children were born on the same day to different mothers you don't call them twins, do you?

Of course they are! Identical twins come from one fertilised egg and non- identical from two separate eggs but one conception. It matters not when they are born as one twin obviously is always born before the other and doesn't take away their 'twinness'.

Yes they are still twins. They are from the same pregnancy so will be whether they are born on the same day or not!

Yes they are. Its not the time the baby's are born that makes them twins its the time spent in the womb and/or the identical genetic makeup (for identical twins not fraternal)

Yes . time is not a factor.. There have been cases of twins being born a few days apart.. The deciding factor is that they were conceived at the same time.

Yes being a twin is nothing to do with WHEN you are born just that you were from the same egg which split or two eggs were fertilised at the same time and grew in the womb together
