The Capital of Canada is Ottawa. Ottawa happens to be in the PROVINCE of Ontario, but the provincial capital of Ontario is Toronto.
You should know that there are ten provinces and there are also territories, each of which has their own capital.
Isn't this information in your text book? Or in an atlas? You do have one, don't you? Look up Canada in your atlas and find out just where each of the capital cities is located, and what the names of each of the provinces and territories are.
I don't need ten points, and I already know them - but I'd like you to learn a little more about them than you presently know.

canada does not have states. We have 10 provinces, and 3 territories. I live in Alberta, the capital is Edmonton. West of us is British Columbia (B.C.), the capital is Victoria or Vancouver. I believe it is Victoria, which is on the Vancouver island. The our east is Sask. The capital is Regina. I don't know all the capitals anymore (I blame old age,l ol). But here are the ones I remember
-B.C. Victoria
-Alberta, Edmonton
-Sask. Regina
-Manitoba Winnipeg
-Ontario, Ottowa (also the capital of all of Canada)
-Quebec, Montreal (this is the French speaking province)
-Nova Scotia ?
-Newbrunswick ?
-PEI (Prince Edward Island), St. Jonh
-I am missing a province there
-The territories are
-NWT (North West Territories), Yellowknife I think
-Yukon, Whitehorse
-I don't know the name of the new territory, it is only a few years old, it used to be part of the NWT
