When I went to Spain when I was about nine me and my family were walking back to our hotel, I remember these two drunk guys were walking down the street and one of them walked straight into a lamppost I found this absolutely hilarious and could stop staring as he walked around a daze that I too walked into another lamppost as I was too busy watching him and not looking where I was going. Not only was it damn painful, I had a lump and a big bruise on my head for the rest of my holiday.

Yes. I saw an old man walk into a concrete lamp-post in the High Street, he was so mad that he took a step back and kicked it, (harder I think than he intended to), because he then stood on one leg and `nursed` his toe. Of course everyone who saw it `fell about` laughing!

I have seen someone do it and actually done this myself and although I hurt my head I had to laugh because I was staring at a good looking woman and another woman said to me " That will teach you naughty boy "

No but I once fell off an escalator when I got to the top because I was talking to someone behind me ! I fell flat on my face it was so embarrassing, but my poor 6 yrs old grandson was frightened to death !

My husband has almost done this and it was hilarious to watch - very embarrassing for the person who does it though I would imagine.
