I like Garfield, and also a fairly obscure set of comic strip books called BC. The BC books were about a group of cavemen and people who lived in a fortress in the desert. They were very funny.

Dilbert has to win, hands down, for me, although he's closely followed by Garfield. I also loved "The Far Side" cartoons, by Gary Larson, but those were single panel cartoons, rather than a strip.

Probably the Bash Street Kids - Beano. I love those ridiculous expressions on their faces. We have great fun trying to copy them. I just hope the wind doesn't change...
