Your ACT is low for UIC, average is about 25 for this year's freshman. However, your GPA is about average. UIC does rolling admissions, so apply early, and you'll be find.

Hey buddy, you have a good chance of getting in. Your ACT score is average but you do have a strong GPA. Your recommendation will help and you must by trying for the 2008-2009 school year, so you are very early. I think you should get in. Make sure you know about the devastating climate there though.

i'm particular you may get into Univ. of Illinois Urbana. yet once you prefer to get into greater effective engineering faculties like Stanford or MIT, you may a minimum of have one or 2 nationwide awards. Like, a gold or silver medal interior america physics olympiad.

Yeah, U of I at Chicago is not really a selective school, so I say if you do well on your college essays and if your recommendation letters are good, then you're in.
