Im trying to find this song and i have no idea who it is by. i think it has been done by a couple different artists but the one i am thinking of is sang by a woman. the chorus of the song is "rollin, rollin, rollin down the river" please help, and thanks in advance!

Proud Mary, done by Ike & Tina Turner in 1971, it was a cover of the original 60's hit by Creedence Clearwater Revival, written by John Fogerty (lead singer of CCR). I personally favor the 1968 original CCR version.
