There are many, many, many more. I know that I am going to be accused of being repub-coserv-basher. I am not, I know the democrats have just as many scandals if not more. However, I think that the whole PLATFORM OF CONSERVATIVE FAMILY VALUES IS A DISINGENIOUS strategy to rally votes and to swing elections. THIS LIST DEMONSTRATES THE FACT THAT NO ONE PRACTICES WHAT THEY PREACH!!!
I also believe that we are all human and everyone makes mistakes, but it is VERY HYPOCRITICAL to impose ideas that these “cultural-icons” don’t keep!
(((What are your thoughts???)))))))

Neither party has ever defined family values. Any law that restricts someones rights, is unconstitutional. It's not their business who anyone lives with.

I agree with you, but unfortunately many followers of Machiavelli
think the powerful should do as they please while they personally promote conservative values to the rest of us. For example,
Neo-Con Allan Bloom wrote bestsellers promoting the conservative agenda and secretly was a Gay pedophile,
he belongs right up there with Mark Foley.

Several years ago, during an election, my phone rang. When I answered this woman informed me that she was the wife of someone who was running for office. She said "I want to let people know that my husband fully supports family values." She continued on to say how he supported strengthening those values in today's society and blah blah blah. When she finished she asked if I had any questions. Bad move on her part. I said, "yes ma'am I do. You say he supports family values. Let me tell you about my family's values. We value human life and equality for all people. Is your husband willing to support legislation to allow my partner and I to marry and raise our children as any straight married couple? Will he support legislation to give us equal rights when it comes to being considered next of kin in case of medical emergencies? Will he support legislation to allow us to be covered under each other's insurance policies? Will he support legislation to allow my partner to be considered a parent of the children that I gave birth to? Is he willing to support legislation allowing gender and orientation to be considered in hate crimes? Ma'am, what I am asking you in a condensed version is does he support equal rights for gay people?" Her answer was a quick "no". I politely said, "Ma'am, he doesn't support my family's values and you can bet he will not get my vote, nor the vote of any other member of the gay community and I do not appreciate the insinuation that because we are gay we have no family values. Now, do you have any questions?" She hung up on me. I wonder why.

I agree with you completely. One of the times Clinton was running, he was being bashed by Newt Gingrich and Bob Dole for his affairs. However, both of them had affairs and divorced their wives. Talk about hypocritical.

I agree. And I think it's unjust to define "family values" in this country. This country is built upon diversity, how dare they define "family values".
