Which of these 3 movies had the better special effects?

I haven't seen Transformers, but I have seen the other two. I think King Kong had better special effects. But War of the Worlds had more "believable" emotion from the characters.

King Kong is better than the other movies in therms of story and special effects, is more touching. War of the Worlds is only good and i don´t enjoyed Transformers, the special fx were very confusing.

King Kong. All three films looked nifty, but only one had a main character that was one big special effect that you could care about and sympathize with.
