CaveDweller, get this straight and don't be foolish about it any more, okay? The basic technology required for a manned flight to the moon was developed in Germany in the late 1930s through the mid 1940s. This technology needed a lot of refinement to make a safe manned flight a reality.

We worked on that technology through the 1950s and 60s, and made the first manned moon flight in 1969. It all fits together, and if you read all the history and don't let the wackos lie to you, it will be impossible for you to continue to be fooled into believing that the moon missions did not take place.

The American people were much better educated and more intelligent in the 1960s and 70s than they are now, and it would never have occurred to NASA engineers and managers that 35 years later a bunch of ignorant dolts with nothing to do would come up with a stupid conspiracy theory stating that the moon landings were faked.

If that had occurred to them, I suspect the engineers would have gone to the trouble to create a larger and more visible object of proof, to compensate for the decline in the quality of the American mind and its education that occurred during and after the Reagan presidency.

But there is a real physical proof available. The astronauts who landed on the moon left behind reflectors that are used every day by astronomers to measure the irregularities of the moon's orbit. This is done by bouncing laser beams off reflectors at known locations that were left by the astronauts. Ask your science teacher for information about these experiments. You can arrange to see this done with your own eyes.

Let me put the question to you this way: If you think the moon landings were faked, when did they become "fake?" When did the idea become popular that NASA had invented the idea of an imaginary moon mission and created a huge technological empire to fool people? When was all this fakery done? In the 60s? 70s? 80s?

And why? What was the point? And how did they fool all the people that reported the news, operated the machinery, built the moon rockets, and watched them take off and land?

Do you realize that one American in 500 was a part of the Apollo program? Millions of them are still alive. Are they fooling you? Why? If you go out to a football game, look around you. In the stadium there are people who worked on the Apollo program.

Ask around. You are surrounded by people who know for sure that American astronauts stood on the moon more than 35 years ago.

Its been demonstrated time and time agin, we did land at the Moon. May I additionally remind you that there was once 6 Moon Missions that landed at the lunar floor throughout the Apollo generation. None of those Apollo Moon Landing's had been hoaxed. I will talk about and disprove the conspiracy theories you can be acquainted with. Think approximately it logically; The spacecrafts had been undoubtedly introduced through NASA, that is complex to false. Second the Apollo crafts would NOT have orbited the Earth for eight days as one of the conspiracy theorists have claimed. If NASA had of performed that they could had been stuck on their lie, notably in the event that they did it six occasions. The Russians tracked the Apollo missions very intently they usually knew for a indisputable fact that not one of the missions had been faked. If they just had the slightest clue that the Moon Landing was once faked it could had been the superb propaganda weapon to be used in opposition to the US and to Capitalism. The flag waves in view that it was once planted within the soil and Armstrong twisted the poles. This is seen in view that in different pictures you'll be able to see the flag isn't relocating whilst he walks beyond it. Also the rationale there's no blast crater underneath Apollo eleven is in view that whilst the craft landed it decreased velocity upon touchdown at the Moon's floor, so all that it did was once blow away filth. The identical is with riding right into a vehicle park in view that you do not force in at 30 miles an hour. Over three quarters of one million folks had been operating at the task in whole. It could had been inconceivable for each a million of them to maintain a mystery. Even filming the touchdown could had been MORE DIFFICULT than touchdown at the Moon itself. Think approximately the quantity of folks they could have had to shoot the Moon touchdown in a movie studio. Lastly if the Moon Landing was once faked, we could have learned years in the past. These matters do not final forty one years with out an reply.

Over and over and over again. 6 times. It was publicized all over the World--except China. The US Moon landings became routine enough news that many lost interest.

The rumor that we really didn't land on the moon was created by the KGB (USSR's equivalent to the CIA) so we wouldn't trust the government. I have a friend that discovered this in the book 'The World was Going Our Way: The KGB and the Third World'. It is by Christopher Andrew and Vasili Mitrokhink, both of them are former KGB agents.

Mr D,

Sure we did! I watched Alan Shepard hit that 6-iron - in light gravity and lack of air, that thing took off! They had to be on the moon......or at Area 51.

I believe we did, it would have been almost imposible to show the Earth the way they did. Though it is possible it was a fake, most likely it was real.
