On sims 2 how do you paint a picture of someone on a couch..you know like in the little thing before it loads..

You have to get your sim's creativity skill high enough (I think 6?) and then when you click on the easel, the "Paint Portrait" and "Paint Still Life" options will be available.
Click that, and then select whatever you want your sim to paint :)

first u have to have 5 creativity skills.then have the person lounge on the couch.last go to the easel and click paint portrait of the person u are doing.if that does not work look at the others anwsers.

You have to have high creativity skill, and click on the easel "paint portrait."
