Craig rubs feet under a stall. I still don't see where the crime is?
Bill Clinton (married) has an intern perform oral sex on him, and doesn't resign. Why? Is is because he's a democrat?

To Fed Up American - Clinton, as a married man was picking up young ladies and actually performing sex with them. That is the difference. Guess it's above your capacity to comprehend what an "alleged attempt" to pick up someone and "actually" do it is. Clinton did it and had interns suck on him. So what if senator Craig attempted to pick up a gay man. Why can't he go into a restroom and ask "Want to have sex with me". What if he asks this on the street, or in a restaurant, or beach. What's the difference. And what's to say if he was just ignorant of the methods used to pick up people. I wouldn't know what foot you have to rub or how you have to bend to signal a pass at someone.

Where's the crime in his action - whether he's gay or not?

Let it go, Clinton stories are over, no one wanted to do anything about it back then. If you can't learn from others mistakes, you should resign. If it was known what goes on in Washington we would have to have elections once a year, to replace all the goody two shoes. It doesn't matter what they do, they get a good check now and are given just like the big CEOs big checks after they are found not doing their job.

Republicans are just obsessed with sex, no matter what kind it is. Notice how it was not neccessary for us to scream off the roof tops about Clinton. It was the Republicans then as it is now. They can't admit sex is a part of life, maybe with a lady, maybe with a young lady, or maybe with a man. Just let it go, let it go.

Why do you have always compare the downfall of a republican to Bill Clinton.
The republican party is just paying for the witch hunt they preformed on PRESIDENT Clinton

Craig plead guilty to a crime, Clinton did not.

Craig's constituents wanted him to resign, so he did.
He is supposed to follow the wishes of those that voted him into office, and he did.

EDIT:

Jefferson is still in office almost a year later. The difference is that he has not yet been convicted and did not plead guilty.
Why is this so hard for some people to understand.

You will notice I said "yet", I believe he will be convicted as the evidence is overwhelming. If convicted he will have to resign as he will most likely be in prison.

I guess when you have "oral sex"...(oh wait, he did not have sex with that woman) in the White House.....it's OK. Part of the perks of being President I guess. I think that's a hell of a lot worse than what the Senator did. Whenever I see Clinton's face on TV....that's the first thing i remember about him. Let's see if they put that in the history books.

A better question would be why didn't Sen. David Vitter resign after admitting to using call girl services? Ilegal if I did it.

Clinton's sex was consensual and private.

I guess if I live until I'm 80, that dead horse will still be suffering a beating.

Because unlike Craig, Clinton at least loves the ladies.

I THINK THE POINT EVOLVES AROUND THE ADMISSION OF GUILT--CLINTON DID NOT ADMITT AT FIRST TO THE ACT THEN DID MAKE A FULL EXPLINATION ABOUT IT AND LOST POPULARITY, WAS CALLED FOR IMPEACHMENT ETC--OUR OTHER FRIEND HAS DENIED EVERYTHING AND WAS ARRESTED AND ON TAPE LYING ABOUT BEING DRUNK AND AT THE AIRPORT--ETHICS LAW HAVE CHANGED SINCE CLINTON AND THE PUBLIC EYE IS WEARY OF POLITICIANS IN OFFICE DRAWING BIG BUCKS AND BEING LIKE HOLLYWOOD STARS AND THEIR IMMORALITY-A STAR IS PUBLICITY A POLITICIAN SHOULD HAVE SOME VALUES TO STAND BEHIND-LYING AND SEX SCANDLES ARE BAD-GOD THE CATHOLIC CHURCH IS STILL RECOVERING FROM BOY SCANDLES AND BANISHING AND CHARGING EX PRIESTS WITH CRIMES SO WAKE UP AND WALK A STRAIGHT LINE IF YOU WANT TO BE A POLITICIAN AND IN THE PUBLIC EYE-LOOK AT GOV DONSEIGALMAN AND SCRUCY HEY GOT TIME FOR THEIR CONSPIRACY IN A FEDERAL INSTITUTION--THE TIMES ARE A CHANGING--IF CLINTON WAS IN OFFICE TODAY HE WOULD HAVE BEEN IMPEACHED YESTERDAY

Because President Clinton still had the support of the American people, and still had his party support.

Most people view sex with a woman differently then sex with a man. That is why the Republicans forced Senator Craig out.

The Republicans did not force Senator David Viter to resign, because he had sex with a female prostitute. But if it was with a male prostitute, then David Viter would have been forced out as well.

You morally correct Republicans are against gay marriage and you can't even distinguish the difference between consensual sex between two adults and homosexual behavior. Typical hypocritical Republican idiots. Fvckin grow up!!!
