Dryel, by Proctor&Gamble. Cleans up to 16 garments. About $11.
Follow directions and it works pretty well. I still send these to the drycleaners every 6th wash or so.

Yes. Look on the laundry aisle of the supermarket. The product is called Dryel. It comes with a large reusable bag, and some chemically treated sheets. You put your clothes in the bag with one of the sheets and put it in your dryer for a set amount of time. You do have to remove the garments and hang them up as soon as the dryer stops so they won't get wrinkled. But I've found it works really well.

They have dry cleaning sheets called something like Dryel - in the grocery store by the cleaning products. I've never used them but I talked to a "very well-to-do" lady in a boutique and she was telling the clerk they work great. She & I were both buying the same jacket and it said hand wash or dry clean. She said she'd use the dry cleaning sheets. I hand washed mine and it came out fine.

The place I get them is Walgreen's drugstore, but I imagine they have them at Walmart or the grocer, also. The kit is called Dryel, and yes, they are very effective for lightly soiled clothing. I don't think I would use one on clothing I really liked if it had a bad stain. I would take something like that to a professional, but normal cleaning, they are fine.

I did use them once and will never use them again. I thought I ruined a shirt, but fortunately the cleaner's was able to get it out! I have a few things that I take to the cleaners, but I wear them a few times between cleanings.

Yes, they still make those and they sell them at your local grocery store or at WalMart, Kmart, Target, whatever. And, they actually did a test on the manufacturer's brand recently and it passed the test. So, try it on something you do not really wear that often and try it.
Good luck.

I have never used one, but I have seen them recently in the detergent aisle of the grocery store. Good luck. I know dry cleaning prices are outrageous!
