It is laced with profanities, and whole bunch of insults. I don't know who left it, but I'm scared. Should I call the police?

You should always call the police if you feel threatened. That way, if it continues to happen, they can have an official number occurrences to justify a full investigation if necessary. Good Luck!!

This is a tricky situation. Immediately inform Interpol, The FBI, and personally take the note to New Scotland Yard for examination...now.

Is it addressed to you? Does it contain threats against your person? Do you have any known enemies? If you answered yes to those questions, call the police. If not, crumple it up and throw it away.

Who do you think left it and why? Is it threatening? If so call the cops. They can have it finger printed and find the writer of the thing?
