The lack of respect and kindness for other human beings.
A lot of people seem to be only out for themselves. When a great tragedy occurs, such as Katrina or 9/11, people come together, but the rest of the time people can be so selfish and mean.
Why can't we be nice to our fellow man every day?

1. Overweight people are still trying to blame something else for their weight, such as viruses, fast food restaurants' plot to make us all fat, or naming new disorders to explain tipping the scales. Instead of watching what they eat, they want to eat anything without consequences. Instead of exercising, they want a pill that will remove fat while they sit and do nothing. AND it disturbs me that scientists are trying to capitalize on people's desperation and laziness by creating this 'magic' pill for them.
2. As somebody else mentioned, the over concern we have to have for our children's safety. No longer can you let your kids play out in your own fenced front yard as you watch from the window on a Saturday afternoon. Sick individuals will snatch a child from these very environments. We constantly restrict and remove moralities from society everyday and wonder why people are committing such heinous crimes. Crimes not only against other adults, but crimes against children. And we have the nerve to go 'Oh my God. Can you believe he did that?' or 'What kind of woman would do that to her own child?' Hmm. I wonder.
3. That everybody wants to complain about how messed up things are in their city, or state, or country. But when asked what they would do different, they produce no intelligent answers, much less, any hint of solutions. People complain about politicians yet know nothing about how to even become a senator or any other office holder. You could stop it before he got there, ya know? And if one more person says 'If I were president, I would bring our troops home now.' We couldn't just up and leave you moron. It would take a year or more. Think before you even open your mouth.
4. Peoples willingness to accept whatever our government dishes out. It's a country governed by the people folks. If everybody doesn't like it, we can change it. Not just sit around and complain about. That is the easy thing to do.

The lack of love that people have for each other .
When I think about the wars in Iraq and Africa. The bad things I read about those countries and the national Geogrphic magazine for Sept. About Pakistan and the civil war that is going on among a bunch of different groups.
Who kill to take their land and use rape as a weapon.
6 local businessmen in town went to this man's house and in front of him and his wife, they held down his young daughter and raped her. Why to scare him into moving so they could take his land. That upset me so much.
That was in the article about Pakistan. A place I thought was supose to be modern and lawful.
I feel we are living in the last days of a dieing old system that needs to have the wicked removed from the earth.

Teenagers. (I am one btw. 14) This MTV generation is making high school a nightmare for teenagers everywhere. And the kids don't even know it. The suicide rates are going up, and kids are inflicting pain on themselves like crazy, because they can't handle all of this stuff. Their lives don't even have to be horrible, it's what they are being saturated with and they don't even know it. When they listen to emo bands and watch violence and sex on TV it's becoming a part of them and it's not good at all. It might make them feel good, but their lives are going down. We're accepting whatever we see or hear on the TV and radio and it's taking our values along with our money....
Oh, and a lot of them are just plain punks. They don't get out of the way in the streets... so I say run em over.

The callous nature of the American people toward each other. We still have bigotry of various forms. Violence runs rampant through some parts of the country. We have lawmakers making laws and then not enforcing them. Taxes that seem to be climbing to the point that both parents have to work to make ends meet, thus leaving the children to be latch key kids. The kids learning insensitivity toward each other to the point that life means nothing to them.
The list can go on and on, but I think you get the idea.

The fact that nobody takes responsibility for anything.
Alcoholics...not their fault, it is a disease
Bush & Company...Iraqi quagmire...not their fault, it was faulty intelligence
Lack of intelligence...not their fault, it is a learning disability
Wait, I should be playing for the Yankees, but I have a baseball disability. I am fat and can't run fast. It is discrimination that I can not sign a $14 million contract. Where's my lawyer? The bases should be moved closer together for me and I should get 8 stikes instead of 3!

The fact that some groups try to "legitimise" Illegal Aliens.
I really think that we need to start thinking about outlawing groups like The Southern Poverty "Law" Center and the A.C.L.U.
They do not have the best interests of American Citizens at heart!

Parents who don't teach their children there are consequences to be payed for ones actions. Moral values, responsibility, and basic respect are taught in the home. I'm sorry in most cases this time out crap doesn't teach a child anything.
