if you only print 50 pages per year, monochrme, I woudl recomend a samll HP lazerjet.

No need to let the inkjet ink dry out.

I bought a Dell 924 All-In-One. It has served me well. Inkjet cartridges are only available through Dell but they give quick service and recycle the old cartridges.

laser will use less ink but the ink cartridges are really expensive. BUT laser printers have far superior quality
