I want to keep my current cable without paying that much, any key things to tell them so that I don't have to downgrade to the limited cable (2-13)

switch to direct TV, its much cheaper

verizon has the triple play thing, all 3 for 99 bucks.
good deal so far, and maybe there will be some competition before everyone drops out and A T & T buys everyone out again.

You can try calling them to complain & tell them that you are going to switch to a cheaper provider. They might lower your fee then.

My aunt did this because they kept raising the fees and they knocked $40 off her bill. I doubt it works all the time, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

Call (ask for a supervisor) and ask that the offer be extended and tell them that you'd like to continue to patronize their business, but will go elsewhere if necessary. It worked for me last year. Good Luck!

uh no. that was the agreement and i doubt you can get out of it unless you are a very smooth talker. switch your service or change the package, yeah, that's about all you can do.
