Lets say you were given what you had always desired (this can be different for each individual), but for this there was a condition.

You have have to undergo a test. This test would test all your mental and physical faculties to the very limit. You would be away from your loved ones and be alone in facing this test.

One thing is known though. The test last for 6 months.

Do you go after your dream or do you play it safe?

my desire. admittedly, everyone has a selfish side. but my reasoning would not be materialistic, but more emotional, per say. i would probably want to have eternal happiness. cliche, corny, say what you will. that's all i need, and i'd do anything i want for it.

My life's desire is security and stability. Let's say they offered to give me a house and a sum of 2.3 million. I could work with that.

I would do the test. I would be ready to go for the grain and give all I had mentally and physically to achieve my goal. I would be a bit sad to be away from my family and my dog for 6 months, but I am sacrificing their closeness and love to make a better life fore myself and them. I would have to go for the gusto, baby!

6 months isn't too much to ask if I can truly have my hearts desire. I am a firm believer that "To be aware of what you want and not go after it, to spend years wondering if something could have materialized, and never knowing if it could have been, is a tragic waste of your life. The worst thing you can do is not to try." I would kill myself wondering what if...if I didn't try.

No. I would say my loved ones are my heart's desire, so I would not want to leave them for 6 months. I already have my dream.
