Eat healthy and live to be a 100 (and be miserable)

~or~

Eat what you want, live to be 50 (and be happy)

I know there are some of you who will say you can eat fantasticly healthy food that taste great. Just play along, please. Let's assume that these are the only two options.

"Playing along" here. ^_^

I'd eat what I want--like I do now--but *not* be miserable like I am now. ^_^ Which means I wouldn't be depressed.

Which means I'd actually exercise, which would *add* a few years, all other things being equal. ^_^ Loophole, part 2.

I know, not what you wanna hear. ^_^ But I'd submit that you're proposing a false dilemna anyway, that how long you live is about so much more than food choices it's not even funny. I don't smoke, haven't touched alcohol since I was 25....the only thing I come close to abusing as a drug is caffiene.

But yeah...you can hate me now. ^_^ Thanks for your time!

To be honest, whenever I eat junk food I get a stomach ache or even a headache sometimes. When I eat healthy I feel good and I also think I get a better variety of foods...anyway...I do eat junk food once in a while and I always regret it! So, I have to say I'd rather eat healthy.

Like everything else when it comes to eat junk food is not that bad if you do it with moderation. For example: If you drink beer with moderation ( a couple of beers twice a week) it is not bad, but if you have three beers every day then that might be bad. Food is the same, eat fast food Junk every day of the week and I tell you that it is going to affect your health somehow.
I usually eat what I like, not what it is good for me, but at the same time I try to avoid having French fries too often. So don't eat something because is good for you, eat it because you like it. Hope I answer your question. Ricardo.

But even with the two options given there emerges a third: eat
healthy 50% of the time and what you want the other 50% of the time and live to be 75. That's my
choice.

Wow, thanks for depressing me. I would rather eat healthy and be miserable. I am already miserable, so living to 100 would not be too bad.
My aunt has 7 years and 4 months to hit that plateau.

Be happy. Life is too short.. Why would I want to waste it being miserable? D:

If I had to choose I would choose to eat whatever and be happy. Ah, but loop whole, what I choose to eat is healthy. Thus, I eat what I want, be happy, AND live to be 100. I love fruits and veggies.
