i havent had any periods for 3 months...i started having period last july 2006..is that normal?

Just like KT says, its normal to skip while you're starting out. Also, if you've had any kind of illness, surgery, stress, dietary changes, or heavy workouts; they can also affect your periods.

I've never had the good fortune of having a normal period, and I'm twenty-nine. I wouldn't worry too much yet. Give it time, and see if the absense of your period continues. Hopefully, you're not on any strange diet that causing you to be anemic.

When you first get your period you can skip it every 2 months or 3. I wouldn't worry about it your body is still regulating out.
