Death is normal. Same as birth! I do not see it as final though! I know that each of us has an appointment with death and that is one appointment we will not miss nor, postpone!
The body begins to age and then things wear out. It is as simple as that! However, our souls and spirits are not included in death. Only the body passes away and goes back to the earth.
I have absolutely no fear of death! I do fear suffering. But, the actual release of death...no. It is the beginning of my eternal life.

Death is something to be avoided. The fear of it is healthy as long as you are not consumed by it.
When it becomes imminent you should embrace it, welcome it. A futile fight to prevent or delay it wastes precious time and energy better spent on other pursuits.
No one knows the time or date it will come. If young/strong/healthy live like you might die next week. Those for whom it is imminent, live like it will come tonight.
I believe in an afterlife. What form it or I may take I don't know. Having wings, sitting on a cloud and playing a harp probably won't happen, but it's as good a theory as any.
In the beauty, perceived simplicity and yet actual complexity of a rose, I see the hand of something greater than myself. The wondrous vastness of the universe tells me that many things exist that I cannot begin to comprehend. It would be sad to think that I in my present form, am the be all and end all of this existence.

To me, death is a part of life. I dont fear it at all. Obviously, I'd like to go fast and painless, but if that isnt meant to be, I'll have to deal with that when it happens. Three years ago I had what doctors called a giant brain anuerism. When they did tests, they dont know how I survived. They did surgery and other than a few after affects, I'm alive and still as ornery as ever. Basically,I should have died that night, so I figure there's a purpose for me to be here for the time being. It's not up to me to decide.

Sorry for Goldwing's loss. I have not heard about it. I lost a very dear friend last week, and it was unexpected. So I am grieving over that. And as for me, death will come sooner or later. Every day, I try to deal with, accept, and even prepare for it.When the time comes, we'll see how helpful my preparations are.

Oh yes, death.
We are all in little row boats on the river of life. Everything was going just great. That is until we realize that life on the river is not so keen. We hear the roar, and we see the mist. We are fast approaching the waterfall. And we all stare at each other feeling sorry for those closer to the falls and contemplating our place in the river. My question to you is "Will you remember me when I'm gone"?

I don't fear death, just the sorrow of leaving those behind that I dearly love, and never getting to see them again. BUT, will we,
guess that will not be known until we get to the other side.
Nobody gets out of this world alive. As they say it's inevitable, Death & taxes.

I agree, death is a part of the transition.
When I was very young, I did not like going to funerals because it made me sad to see people crying. As I have matured and learned how to accept it, I feel that we have two reactions to death.
1. Loss of someone we love or will miss.
2. Joy that they have gone home.
I try to celebrate the joy of their life. (Learned from my Father).

I think that our souls are actually the embodiment of our "real" lives, and that when they get packaged in flesh and born into this world, we are actually being sent here to learn lessons for our own enlightenment.
So the body in this world is just an envelope that allows our real selves (our souls) to learn and grow spiritually.
As such, the loss of that envelope is no more than moving into the next stage of our existance, and not to be feared or regretted at all.

I do consider your idea is proper. :) I additionally feel goals, particularly brilliant lucid ones are realities that we simplest revel in at the same time "dreaming". You get up right into a dream such as you get up into lifestyles. You get up into demise additionally. As above, so under. I do not consider demise exists besides for in terms of the bodily frame. I feel reincarnation occurs however it is not compelled on any one. I additionally consider that whilst you die it is feasible to reincarnate onto one other planet and even airplane/measurement. Like anybody of whose title I cannot recall as soon as stated, demise is the exceptional unveiling. It's whilst the blinders are taken off and you spot matters for what they fairly are.
