Not sure of the exact passage but it reads something like this..."there is a tribe that believes someones life is only the core of their existence, no one is truely dead until the clock they wound up winds down, the crop they sow is harvested and made into bread...etc"

Any idea which book it is in? And the full quote?

pretty sure its reaper man but im not certain. sounds like it though.
